The model we refer to as the Blue & White G3 is a
swoopy-looking tower with an optional display. Those
take either the older beige ADB keyboard or a USB
keyboard.
If it is blue and All-In-One with CRT, it is probably
an iMac G3 400 CRT model. Those take only USB
keyboards and mice. You can get by with an IBM
keyboard, but some key-combos used for debugging will
not work properly, and when it says Apple/Command key
you will press the Windoze key.
This forum is for Hardware Older than the G3. iMac
CRT support page is here, and has a link to the
discussions for those models:

Krissy, welcome to Apple Discussions & the Mac
Community. There are differences on a few keys. I
have a USB PC scroll wheel mouse that I use on my G3
Pismo laptop running Tiger. The mouse works fine.
However, if I plug it into my G4 running OS 9.2.2,
the scroll wheel doesn't work, but the roller ball &
clicker work fine.
Here's some links about using a PC keyboard on a
Mac.

You will probably be more pleased with a Mac kbd &
mouse. You can get used ones quite cheap by joining
LEM-Swap for buying & selling Mac stuff.

After you join, post a WTB (want to buy) & you'll
probably get multiple offers.
Cheers, Tom
