How do I access text message drafts?

I keep having lengthy iPhone text message drafts disappear if someone calls or I get interrupted. Wastes a lot of time. Does anyone know a solution?

I know they’re saved because sometimes I open a text and a message I wrote months ago appears!

In spite of some of the texts reappearing for you, there is no way to save a text draft. My best advice is, if the message is that important send an email. You can save a draft that way.
