date/time stamp in filename of iPhone photos taken...

Question

Hi,

When I take a photo of a something with my iPhone, I want the file to be something that looks like this:

File Apr 02, 1 56 19 PM.jpeg

It used to do this on it's own, but I can't see how to change it back in the current iPhone X settings.

Here is what the files look like now when I take a picture:

IMG_0296.jpg

Notice how one is a .jpeg and the other is a .jpg file.

How can I change this so that my phone automatically names the photo file with the date and time?

Interesting you ask this question. I had not thought about it, but I have these photos going from my phone and uploaded to my Dropbox.

So, maybe the setting is in the Dropbox settings??

I do not use a third party app for this custom view. Unless of course you are referring to Dropbox being that third party app.

or something like OneDrive upload, or Dropbox upload?
