How to tell if my airpods are refurbished?

There really isn't any way to tell. What makes you think they are?

I typed in the serial number on the box and part of the info i got is
Repairs and Service Coverage: Active
Your product is covered for eligible hardware repairs and service under Apple’s Limited Warranty.
Estimated Expiration Date: August 26, 2019
...Does it mean that the product is new?
I purchase them on ebay and the seller has a few negative reviews about other apple products he sold.
