Leaving AirPods plugged in and charging all the time is ok?

Is it OK to to leave the AirPods plugged in and charging all the time when not using them? I've done this with my iPhone 5 for years and never had a problem.

AirPods charging problems My iPod pro stays connected to my iPhone even when it’s in the charging case with the lid closed. Is this supposed to be the way they work? Sometimes my battery is drained when I go to use them and sometimes Only one is charged. But this staying charged to my iPhone is a new issue for me. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How do i know when the charging case for the AirPods is at a full charge? How long can i go without charging the AirPods case before another full charge?

Absolutely. Apple devices are equipped with overcharge protection, meaning they will stop accepting charge when they are full.
