CarPlay Maps showing wrong location

Hello,

I recently bought a 2017 Kia Sedona in large part due to the vehicle having Apple CarPlay. Unfortunately, when either my wife or I plug in our phones, Carplay maps displays the incorrect location. If we disconnect our phones from the car, the correct location returns. After a lot of back and forth with the dealership, they are trying to tell us it is an Apple issue and not a Kia issue. I have seen this issue pop up on other car owners forums, but have not come across a fix. If anyone has any advice to help troubleshoot and fix the issue, I would be very appreciative.
