Airdrop automatically declined

Hi,

I'm trying to transfer some pics from my iPhone X to my MacBook Pro Retina 2012, it used to work.

Now, I can se the MBP from the iPhone AirDrop share panel but when I select it I get a "Refused".

Airdrop share from my iPhone X to another iPhone works seamlessly, the problem see

I tried to disable and re-enable airdrop on both iPhone and MBP but still not work

Please help.

Apple: Stop relying on (rightfully clueless) community to solve issues with your tech. Have someone qualified follow & respond to matters like this. I came here looking for answers to this problem & once again discover the blind leading the blind....

Nope. I did the same on both mbp and iPhone, it didn’t work for me.

Just accounts/iCloud - sign out, sign back in, worked.

Did it just on the device refusing the inbound airdrop requests, all other device stayed as they were. - 12.9“ iPad on 12.01

Signing in and out of iCloud solved the problem.

As you can see below. Logging out of iCloud and back in solves this problem.

Hi.

I tried to log out and in to iCloud multiple times on both devices, but it didn’t work.

Yep. Same situation here between our Apple devices. Worked perfectly before the update. With so many reporting this issue, it has to be a bug. Sure wish they’d fix it.
