MacBook Pro vibrating when charging

Hi guys!

I have noticed that my MacBook Pro slightly vibrates when it is charging. I have read in several forums that this is due to grounding. So the solution would be using the extension cord which has a grounding plug. So far so good. The thing is that the extension cord is not even delivered with the new MacBook's anymore. My questions are:

1.) Is this vibration harmful for the Mac?

2.) Is this vibration harmful for me?

It appears the long cord was removed as a cost savings. You can purchase one as an accessory (in the US, price is US$19.)

The 'vibration' as some call it, or 'tingling sensation in the fingers' as other call it (while charging) is not harmful to your Mac or to you. Some users find it alarming or inconvenient.

If it annoys you, the grounded power cord should put all your fears to rest.

Thank you for the answer! I really hope that it is not harmful to the Mac or to myself! I have also experienced this on my older MacBook's so it is no new thing. But I guess since Apple did not "fix" it, it should not be harmful to the computer or human.

Make sure your Mac is sitting on a solid surface when charging.
