How do I eject a disk in an iMac desktop that won't start up?
My iMac desktop won't start up. It has a disk mounted in it. How do I eject the disk?

On the oldschool macs there used to be a tiny hole you could stick an unfolded paperclip in that would force eject a cd. not sure if it is still a feature on new models. My macbook doesn't have a disc drive so couldn't say for sure but worth a look

It is not.
Drag the disc icon to the Trash. it should eject automatically.
Holding down the mouse key did it. Thanks for the lesson.
