I can't install my drivers Requires Administrator or higher level access
I just bought a new HP printer and when I try to install the software, it does the regular asking of Admin name and password. When I enter the needed information, instead of going through with the instalation I get this message:
"The software to be installed requires Administrator or higher level access privileges" Not quite sure what to do.

Some software installers won't install from a non-admin account even if you authenticate with the admin password. Palm Desktop is one that frustrated me before I figured it out. Log in to your admin account and try installing it from there, or ask your sys admin to do it.
I tried both accounts and niether worked. I even got online and downloaded the same drivers and it did the same thing in both accounts. I called HP to see of they could help with the problem but they told me I should contact apple.
