Apple Alert Regarding Your Recent Order Scam

So I have been getting these "Apple Alert Regarding Your Recent Order" emails, which are obviously a scam (the latest was sent from "apple@cybermesa.com"). Easily recognizable, no problem. What has me concerned is that I have been receiving these scam/phishing emails the day after I have actually visited and made a purchase at an Apple Store. This has happened a couple of times now, and I am concerned that it is not a coincidence. It is sent to my Apple ID email address that is used to make purchases, not necessarily my iCloud email address.

Any advice regarding this would be appreciated.

If you're concerned about your account's security, you should change your Apple ID password.

1. Go to https://appleid.apple.com/

2. Under the security section, click change password

3. Check the "sign out devices and websites using my Apple ID" box.

Then, change the password of your email account at which you receive Apple receipts.
