is the aluminum gold apple watch series 4 actually gold or a rose/pink gold

It is the same blush gold that they have now which is closer to a rose gold than a yellow gold.

Yes. The SS was a beautful gold. But the aluminum was a cheap Blush Rose Gold.

What you need to ask them is if it is Yellow Gold, rose gold is "Gold". But if you look at the online gallery with a computer with a decent screen you can clearly see it is the blush gold that they introduced with the Series 3.

The pictures I posted just now also came from the Apple Store site. On my Retina display I can clearly see that the aluminum model is the same blush gold as the Series 3 and the SS is more a yellow gold.

It is a Gold rather than a rose gold/pink.

Honestly it looks “copper” to me. I’m not happy with the shade being called gold, but it at least looks non-rose gold enough to keep. I’ll likely exchange it for a black.

Obviously the little circles won't help. Go to the Gallery of the watches and look for the gold with the nylon band (not the coral sport band). If you have a decent monitor connected to your Mac Pro you should be able to see it. BTW there is not difference in cases between the the aluminum GPS and Aluminum GPS with cellular.

There are several colors of gold. Apple has offered yellow gold in the past but to me it looked like a cheap knock off. They then offered Rose Gold which was very dark pink. I didn't care for it but others did as they lamented its passing when they moved to the blush gold although some like it better because it isn't so pink. The blush gold looks nothing like a penny to me. I have had one gold iPhone which was stainless steel but wasn't thrilled with it. Have pretty much stayed with space gray and space black. The Stainless Steel model looks more yellow gold like the new iPhones.

I am so glad i read this. I just returned the one i purchased to Macy’s. I am not paying $529 for rose gold. My friend has an earlier version and its more of a true (yellow) gold. I thought I was getting the same color. Disappointing. Guess i will use my Macys credit for winter coats. So annoyed.

Well I got the answer. Super pink to me. ugh wish I knew this. I mean just call it rose gold wth?! Left, is my series 1. 😠

Shoot! I ordered it but if it's not a gold then I'll take it back. Went to Apple yesterday and they had no idea what the color was. Seems they would be told something about the products that people are pre-ordering.

I stopped at Apple and they have no clue if it's Gold (as advertised) or a more Rose Gold or Blush Gold. Geez, if we are all pre-ordering, Apple should at least give some info to their stores! Says Gold, should be Gold. Not Rosy. Not Blush Gold. We'll see...

Thank you, I will just wait till they are physically in stores to see color. My iphone, it really dont matter, I always have a cover on it. However the watch is used to accessorize with my other jewelry. There are too many other options out there. 🙂
