Why can't I get Adobe Acrobat Updater off my MAC OS X

Hello, I have been having a problem with a popup that comes on my MAC OS X V.10.11.6 purchased late 2009 with 4GB memory and a 3.06Gz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my computer but I don't know why I get this popup. When I try to close it I always have to Force Quit. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get rid of this or if it is good. My only option is to hit continue which I haven't done since I read up on this, I know adobe has some Virus going around and malware, etc. Hope someone has some information for me. I managed to delete this but it keeps coming back every day. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks and have a great weekend. User uploaded file

EtreCheck version: 4.3.6 (4D041)

Report generated: 2018-09-16 10:38:49

Download EtreCheck from https://etrecheck.com

Runtime: 5:23

Performance: Below Average

Problem: Other problem

Description:

I have 2 apps in Users, one is AdobeResourceSynchronizer and the other is Google. I know what Google is and it’s listed under apps but I can’t find AdobeResourceSynchronizer App anywhere except under my UserName in System Preferences. I read that I should delete both of these and see if the daily popup still happens. The popup says "An Adobe Acrobat update is available that requires your permission to install." Clk. Continue when you’re ready to apply this update. I can’t get rid of this and it’s also on my dock. I can’t quit unless I force quit. I have no idea what’s going on.
