I have a Windows Outlook .ost file that I would like to view using a MaC Book Pro that does not have a Mac version of Outlook. Are Mac versions of free Outlook .ost file viewers able to open Windows Outlook.ost files? Thank you for your advice.

Thank you for replying and for the information. I suspect that my initial question was not clear in some respects. So, to rephrase the original, I'll write:

1. I have an Outlook .ost file that was created using a Windows machine.

2. The .ost file was copied onto a MacBook.

3. The MacBook does not have a Mac version of Outlook installed.

4. What I hope to do is to use an .ost file viewer, using the MacBook, to view the file contents.

5. The task is to view the .ost file contents only, not to make the contents available for editing, incorporating into Mail, etc.

6. So, given the conditions I describe here, do you or others here know of an .ost file viewer that performs the task?
