Calendar events on iPhone x

All my events have disappeared from my calendar app. I have tried everything suggested such as turning off sync from iCloud and turning it on again, resetting phone, etc etc. I have several important events listed and need them back. Any suggestions please

iPhone X, iOS 11.4.1
