Why does my iPad say “showing only music on this iPad” and how do I change this

Tap Library V near the top left, then tab where it shows < Library.

You can only choose between showing only what is on your device, or what is on the device or in the Cloud.

When viewing the Music app tap any < symbol in the top left corner to get to the Library screen. If you don't then see a line that reads Downloaded Music tap Edit at the top right to add it, choose where it lives in the menu (normally at the top) then tap Done. Select Downloaded Music to filter your view to only what is on the device.

I have this same problem but on my phone. How do I change it to show music from all devices?
