i had an app for Night Owl security camera on my iPhone 6, one day it was gone and can’t figure out how to get it back. I have gone to App Store, purchased and will only allow me to open the app, does not give me the option to download back from the cloud . It shows that I already own the app but can’t get it back on home screen. What do I need to do.

Thank you all for helpful information, I ended up deleting the app and all info from my iPhone and downloaded the app back from the cloud though I had to re-enter all pertinent information back into the system. It is now back on home screen. Thank again

You must have accidentally moved it to another screen or into a folder. Look around. It's there somewhere. If you search for it with Spotlight, it should tell you what folder it's in if it's been moved into a folder.
Do you mean it has disappeared from your iPhone or your iMac. If you mean it's disappeared from your iMac home screen (By the way there is no such thing as a Home Screen) there is good reason. That reason would be it was never there as IOS apps (iPhone, iPad, Watch etc..) do not run on Mac OS and would not show up in the Mac App Store. Look in the Store for your iPhone and see if it's located there.
By Home Screen I think you mean Desktop, can you clarify??
Thanks for your reply, I understand what you are saying about the desktop not having a home screen, but this is for an iPhone 6. I have tried searches about this issue with no luck. I can’t find the app in the list of apps on the phone in settings anywhere but it still shows as an installed app on the phone and can’t download it from the cloud. At a loss currently as to what to do to get back.
