How do I add Waze to CarPlay?

Just installed iOS12. I thought it would be easy, but can't figure out how to add Waze app to CarPlay? Anyone know how?

Mac mini (Late 2014), iOS 10.3.1

How to use General/Setup for CarPlay to add Waze and Google Maps apps? Can't setup CarPlay for Waze and Google Maps. Running iOS 13.4 on iPhone 5. The Setup window on the iPhone for CarPlay does not show Waze or Google Maps apps as selections to add to the display. I've deleted the Waze and Google Maps apps and reloaded the latest versions but still "no joy". Anyone have any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue?

The developer has not yet released an update to make it compatible with CarPlay. You will have to wait for them to do so.
