Just go to Preferences in Safari/Extensions and enable the checkmark. Safari 12 also shut off my Adblock. They're changing the way Safari handles extensions and will require that everything is installed as an app through the Mac App Store. It's a PITA but hopefully things will go back to normal after the transition period. It's annoying that we don't get a warning when Apple makes these changes which they tend to do more often than not.

The extensions in Safari Preferences is totally empty "No Extensions" is displayed in the right hand box. The only tick box is "Automatically update extensions from Safari extension gallery" had no effect ticked or unticked. The "More Extensions" just takes you to App Store. Tried Extensions in Apple Preferences nothing doing there.

Thanks for your response.
