What digi-beta decks are everyone using?

What digi-beta decks are everyone using?

I am in the market for a new/used digi-beta deck and was just wondering what everyone is using?
What are my options and possibly the least expensive option.
Also what capture cards have worked well for you as well.
I am on a G5 Dual 2.3gh, FCP 5.1, etc

Thanks for any info.

DVW-A500 is a work horse. Records Digibeta but plays SP and digi. Good used ones are around $22-$25K. Sony has a J series that will playback digibeta and other flavors but recocords in sonys imx or whatever-it-is mpeg varient.

We have Aja I/O and Decklink. Never any issues with the digibeta.

Are there any other decks besides the Sony DVW-500?
Seems like that is the only deck that is even sold.

Sony s the only ball game for Digital Betacam. there are a few players then the two mastering studio decks the DVW 500 and the DVW A500. the A model refers to analog capability ie Beta SP playback and if the option card is installed NTSC composite in. The J sereis players are inexpensive and versatile feeder decks for digitizing but you can't master to them. no need to worry about record inhibiting your tapes!
