Assistive Touch in IOS 12

Hello John,

I recently bought a new iPhone SE (because all the new phones are too large for me). After upgrading to iOS 12.0.0 the same error appears here as well. I only can get it back when re-enabling the feature in the settings. I hope Apple will "repair" it soon...

Yeah, this is a real PITA. I have to turn it on and off on both my iPhone and iPad every morning to get the button back.

I first noticed this on the beta version of iOS 12. I reported the problem to Apple using the Feedback app, but that obviously had no effect.

I also am having same problem. To make things a little easier, I added Assustive Touch to my Accessibilty Shortcuts so I can turn it off & on using the triple press of my Home button until they fix the problem.

In have also had the same problem with my iPhone 6 updated to iOS 12. It seems to disappear over night for some reason and then as said has to be reactivated.

Good suggestion on putting it in the menu.

Hopefully this glitch will be sorted! Prehaps the usual glitch and problems that seems to be with new iOS these days

This problem also happens to me. Furthermore, everytime I switch to anoher program. The assistive touch change the location itself on the screen too.

Same for me. Every morning... I have to reinit the setting, since iOS12 (I’m using an iPhone 7 Plus). So borring...

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut and make sure that Assistive Touch is not checked.

Glad I could help. Looks like it isn't fixed in 12.0.1 update.

The assistive touch button frequently gets disappeared automatically from the screen after IOS 12 updation....

all time need to go back setting and enabling it.....

Any solution pls
