Watch os5 contacts

I updated my Apple Watch 3 to OS5 today, but I have lost all the contacts on the phone. I have reset the sync data, and turned off both the phone and watch, but still no contacts.

Any suggestions?

Hello esayler.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, you no longer see the contacts on your iPhone since updating the WatchOS. I will be glad to assist.

Let's try the steps below from our article: Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders

  1. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud. If you're using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud.
  2. Slide to turn off Contacts.
  3. If prompted, choose Keep on My [device].
  4. Wait a few minutes, then turn on Contacts.
Also, check online to see if you need to restore contacts. Check out the steps below from the article: If you accidentally deleted your calendars, reminders, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud

  1. Sign in to iCloud.com.

  2. Click Settings.
  3. Scroll down and under Advanced, click Restore Contacts.
  4. Click Restore.
  5. Click Restore again to confirm. After the restore completes, you'll get a notification on iCloud.com and an email to the address on file with your Apple ID.
Cheers.
