Hello Filter-Foto,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with iOS 12 beta GM and the iPad Pro Keyboard. I am happy to check this out with you.

First, I recommend removing the beta version from your iPad using the steps provided in this help article: How to install or uninstall iOS beta software - Apple Support

Once competed, you can then upgrade to the full iOS 12 version using this help article: How to update to iOS 12 - Official Apple Support

If you have trouble upgrading wirelessly, I recommend following the information here and using iTunes: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Update your device using iTunes

If you can’t update wirelessly on your iOS device, you can update manually using iTunes on a computer that you trust. If your computer is using Personal Hotspot on the iOS device that you’re updating, connect your computer to a different Wi-Fi or Ethernet network before you update.

If you still have trouble with the iPad Pro keyboard after updating to the full iOS 12 version, I recommend trying the step provided in this help article: Use your Smart Keyboard with iPad Pro - Apple Support

Get help

If your iPad Pro doesn't detect your Smart Keyboard or you see an "Accessory not supported" alert on your iPad Pro, make sure there's no debris or plastic covering on the Smart Connector pins on the keyboard or the Smart Connector on the iPad Pro. Also, try these steps:

  1. Make sure that your iPad Pro and Smart Keyboard are in the Type position and that you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Remove the Smart Keyboard from your iPad Pro.
  3. Restart your iPad Pro.
  4. Reconnect the Smart Keyboard.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
