Siri raise to speak not working
I have it set on the watch. Raising my wrist and all I get is the watch face.
Just bought a new Apple Watch Series updated to latest OS, but Raise to Speak works only a small % of the time,

I thought I was having the same problem, then I discovered I have to raise the watch really vertical (as with the screen "L perpendicular" to the floor) and speak with a medium-to-high volume voice.

I found that I had to raise the phone to my mouth really quickly. That did the trick.

I had an issue like this for a short while after I got out of the shower with my Apple Watch series 4. Sometimes a tiny bit of water can get stuck in the mic or the speakers, so make sure your watch is completely dry, and use the “water blow out” feature or whatever it is a few times (that’s when you flip on, and then turn off, the water droplet in your watch control center). Started working again for me after that.
As I mentioned in an earlier comment I see my question displayed but it does not provide an answer. I often see “I’ll tap you when ready”, usually after the question is displayed but there is never an answer. I think I’ll power off the watch and try again.

When you raise your wrist it will not show any Siri information on the screen until you start talking. Once the watch registers your voice it will start to display information.
