iMovie crashes at exporting file

Hi!

I can't export an edited file to anywhere (save file, save to iTunes, to iCloud, etc.). Imovie starts exporting it and crashes. Any suggestions except to re-edit a file in Final Cut and forget about iMovie forever?

Just installed iOS 12 but the problem was before that and was hoping that new iOS would help, but no...

(Teacher needs help again) iMovie just stopped exporting my movies. Any of them... Hello, I've been using/learning iMovie in order to create online classes for my students because of COVID19. Everything has been working fine until this morning. iMovie just won't export a file. Any from any movies I've created and exported about 30 videos thus far and I understand the basics. But now, when I select all my project clips and select the "Share - File..." option and hit "OK", nothing happens. No error messages, nothing. The little pie-chart progress indicator flashes for a fraction of a second before disappearing for good. The application doesn't bug or freeze (as I can keep working on the video or move to other projects), it just doesn't export the file. I also can't export any of the videos it previously exported in the last few days and weeks. Nor will it export and brand new video. I'm on 10.13 and iMovie 10.1.6 (and I can't upgrade). Thanks. P.S. The only change I made to the computer since yesterday is that I installed iOS 14 on my ipod touch. I can't imagine why it would change anything for iMovie, but nothing else changed.

trouble outputting project Attempting to share iMovie project to Vimeo yet it keeps crashing. Had worked on a previous attempt to upload, but made edit changes since and wondering if data is corrupt somewhere in the timeline. Same issue when opting to Save File (it’s a 45 minute long video). Any feedback would be great.

iMovie 10.1.6 Fails to export: compressor kit error iMovie 10.1.6 on iMac OS 10.11.6 (yes, El Capitan) suddenly will not export movies. Gives compressor kit error. Changed the move. Deleted transitions. Fails export. Duplicated project. Fails to export. Started over. New Project. Edited movie all over again. Fails to export. Found support page here suggests reboot in Safe Mode, then back again in Normal Mode. Did that. Fails to export. All media was shot on iPhone 11Pro, with some edits made in the Camera Roll before importing into the iMac. Found Apple Support page with instructions on altering Library/Application Support/Compressor folder or the Apple Qmaster folder. My Library/Application Support folder has no such folders or files in them. Any suggestions?
