Can App Store app downloads be visible by my employer when I am connected to wifi?
Hi all,
Would like to trouble your your expertise with addressing the above question. I was accidentally connected to my employer's wifi on my iPhone and downloaded a series of applications (non work related) during work hours, by accident.
My understanding is that App Store downloads are encrypted, and the employer may only want to decrypt it if it relates to a large amount of data. Could I seek your kindest expertise and advice as to whether my app downloads will be visible to my employer by way of their monitoring of usage, just because of my wifi connection? Or will they just see that I have had an activity or download on iTunes without tracing to the app? If it is visible, would it take a long time before they are able to identify so, or would that be identifiable almost immediately?
Thanks!
