Remove Unwanted Apps on Apple Watch

I don't understand why we don't have the option to remove certain apps from the apple watch. Even when I go to "Dock Ordering" and say not to include the majority of apps, they still show up on my watch. For example, when I click the crown to take me to my apps, I don't want to see the camera, mail, maps, radio, reminders, etc. (you get the picture), yet there they are. It's just unwanted clutter on my watch. Am I missing something? Is there a way to remove these from the watch?

Hey kcgoad,

If I understand correctly, there are some apps that are built-in that you would like to remove from the Apple Watch. There are some apps that you are not able to remove from the iPhone Home screen, if they cannot be removed from there, they will not disappear from the Apple Watch screen.

Delete a built-in app from your device

  1. On your iOS device, touch and hold the app lightly until it jiggles. If the app doesn't jiggle, make sure that you're not pressing too hard.
  2. Tap on the app, then tap Delete.
  3. Press the Home button to finish.

If you have an Apple Watch, deleting an app from your iPhone also deletes that app from your Apple Watch.
