How do I approve my phone on another device signed into iCloud?

it is saying waiting for approval.... but i have no other device?

My iPhone is asking to go to another device sign into iCloud and approve this iPhone...how do i do that?

This has been ridiculous for me too. I was chatting with Apple, with two reps, for about 2 hours (not kidding, I have trascrips). And I am still waiting for approval from somewhere.

that is exactly what I had only screen until today, I somehow was able to do something right until now I have been caught up in some kind of loop that left me spinning around and around. I have no idea what I need to do now that I have my laptop approved

I had to remove 2 factor authentication (it was a nightmare) when you turn 2 factor on you get an Email my new phone sent the apple email to junk, Pulling that email up I was able to remove 2 factor (it was a total joke like I am going to carry around 2 devices so I can get the damm code. I am having the same problem no approve button on my pc after logging to I cloud.com and signing in. I have talked to support today they had me sign out and back in on my phone I have not seen the update request since but its only been a few hours, to sign out go to settings click on your name then at the bottom click on sign out, as soon as I did this it asked me to sign back in so we will see if it works.

I managed to solve it!

I have a macbook air connected to my Apple ID.

On the macbook;

Go to Systems Preferences -> iCloud -> Account Details -> Security

Then try "Get Verification Code"

while on the page of your iphone where it says "waiting for approval from another device"

It should prompt you for the password you use to unlock your other device.

In this case it was my macbook's password.

I have the same thing, I am trying to Approve my Iphone, have logged in a iCloud and can't find button approve, I have watched a lot of videos, how to do that, but they don't really work, I don't have mac, so I used a simple computer, what should I do? does someone knows?

I had the same problem of approving a new device but no message or way to approve it on my other devices (pc's). I succeeded by resetting the 'keychain' apple uses to encrypt data links to icloud. Click the 'can't approve' link at the bottom of the window and choose to reset the keychain. Wait, wait & more wait until apple does it's thing behind the emerald curtain. Then magically the wizard makes it happen & all is right with the world again. :-)
