How do I approve my phone on another device signed into iCloud?

3computers,this phone my airline tablet not suppose to be a phone and 7 mo. Later . I’ve been robbed of every ID possible .I know it’s not possible. But when you no longer have privileges or administrative rights to phones or computers you own files and documents you can’t acsess. A ICCID that’s a country code of the Netherlands. A company you’ve worked for 34years that your 401k poof dissapears b/c your I’d has been lifted. Your life turns into a nightmare but it isn’t possibly it can’t happen you must be crazy. Remember me. It happens everyday. These people can erase you take your life and you are the ones others will laugh at, I love it everyday

You sound just like me. Frustration and questions. Why should anything with an apple be this confusing, time consuming, and difficult. I’m like you, however, after leaving it open for a long while, the message did pop up and I was able to log in. Glad you had success too, though I never understood what I did any different than I had previously when I couldn’t log in.

you are absolutely right about “ what I did different than I had previously when I couldn’t log in” . That’s why I said “by luck” because I don’t know either, besides the only thing I can think of is might helped is I did the software update right before it finally went through.

maybe Apple is like a person , have his own temper and when he is not happy , he just won’t let you go through 😄.

I have this problem. I've signed into iCloud and my iPhone is "waiting for approval"

Where in iCloud do i approve my iPhone? I can see my iPhone on iCloud, but can't figure out how to actually approve the iPhone.

This has been going on since i received a HomePod for xmas.... haven't yet been able to connect my iPhone to it and actually use the thing!!!

Tell me about it. My Iphone has been stuck in this process for a while and I have tried everything. It is especially frustrating because I continue to get the notification that I need to complete the task. I hope i don't have to schedule an appointment to Apple to get this fixed. UGH, I miss my samsung

I did this exactly. Entered the code on my laptop. clicked allow. YET my phone is still sitting there with "Waiting for approval..." spinning. This is exactly what EVERYONE here is describing! Why can't you people give us an ANSWER???

my iPhone 7 pulse is asking my several times to approve it , i follow the instructions but it takes me to this ( go to one of your other devices signed in to i Cloud to approve this iPhone) & other thing :waiting to for approval

and it shew " waiting for approval.

What's next?

I try to go to log in in website. I don't know how to begin.

If iCloud Keychain is corrupted in Mac .

( a ) Use an iPhone and sign in with same Apple ID and password in your Mac .

( b ) In iPhone go to settings , iCloud open keychain and click on advanced two options will be shown reset code and reset iCloud Keychain , click on reset iCloud Keychain .

( c ) A verification code will appear on your mobile number through sms and it will prompt to generate a code , think of code and fill up in the field so keychain will be set up in iPhone , write down this code .

( d ) Come to Mac in system preferences > click on iCloud the box of keychain is unchecked , so tap the keychain box , it will show waiting for approval click on option button , enter the passcode that is generated in iPhone , click on confirm .

( e ) Again in iPhone a pop up will appear showing approve or deny for name of Mac to approve for keychain , click on allow .

( f ) In Mac click on option button enter trusted number an sms will come having a verification code , enter it the trusted number will be saved and visible and finally keychain is set in Mac .

Note : ( a ) clarify are you trying to sign in with same Apple ID and password on iPhone / Mac .

( b ) is there any iCloud Keychain issues .

( c ) when secondary authentication is used and you enable 2FA and before 14 days you click on the link disable the account that appears in IMAP account then also waiting for approval from other device error is shown .

Please , post some screen shots ( hide your mail address ) , this thread is running from months , you or other having their same problems can create new threads , me and other members will try to solve it .

Having same issue as all of the above users. Spent 87 minutes on phone with Apple Support today. They do not know how to fix this. You replied that one should click "Can't approve this iPhone?" - to "reset protected data" - If this is done, and all of the saved passwords are deleted from the phone, will they be available in the cloud for restoring? If yes, how does one restore all of the passwords? Thank You
