My iPhone 6s died

Last night when I plugged my phone in to charge it was working perfectly. When I woke up I picked up my phone this morning and it would not turn on. I've tried plugging it into my mac, but it's not being recognized. I've tried putting it into recovery mode, no luck. I've tried holding the power and home buttons down, nothing. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks.
