To attach a photo, you use the photo icon at the top of the text area. It has to be of an approved format, the file name cannot contain special characters, and it cannot be larger than 2MB. A photo does not make a difference here, this is a user to user support forum, and Apple does not participate here. That is why I said for you to make a Genius Bar appointment for Apple to examine the device. They would be the ones to make the decision on it.

Again, no one here can say. What does the metal around the corner look like. That type of damage certainly looks like it has either been dropped or struck on that corner. You may have a hard time convincing Apple that it was not user damage.

Only Apple can evaluate the device. Make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have them look at it. They will explain your options from there.
