Safari 12.0 and Netflix not working. Any solutions?

Is there an alternative to the now broken use of Silverlight with Safari 12.0 for streaming Netflix?

-tried the new version of Silverlight

-nothing on Google that I could find.

-is there an HTML 5 workaround?

Netflix not working well in Safari I am using safari Version 14.0.1 (16610.2.11.51.8), and every time when I try to use Netflix on Safari, it take a long time to load or do not load completely. Using fibre internet and browse other sites with no problem, and stream YouTube with no issue as well. Any idea what happen ?

Safari stops playing Amazon video content - Silverlight IS installed Recently, I'd been using Google Chrome for everything but suddenly it went wonky and would'n open known websites (Apple.com Google.com) so I decided to fall back to using Safari 12.1 b(13607.1.40.1.5) but when I go to Amazon to view Amazon video content I KNOW I have, I get an "unsupported plugin" message from Safari. I know that Amazon's video content runs on Silverlight - and that's already installed. Any ideas what's up?

I did a restart and repaired permissions. It works now.
