My settings says Wi-Fi and our Wi-Fi has a lock and a Wi-Fi icon and a circle with i inside....keeps going off Wi-Fi every 3 mins

New iOS 13.4 yet again can’t stay connected to wifi after not using phone for 30 minutes or more 14 try’s on an operating system and this is your best people can do ....... hello android is what I’m thinking next phone this 11 is not as good as the 6S for stability.

This issue has been ongoing for ages now, despite being told it is a router/wifi issue

For the record, I have only had this issue on my iPad Air 2 with VPN, but that was a VPN bug, which was fixed months ago

There are 3 people in my home with iPhones, and I'm not aware any of us have or had this problem

We had Sky BB, now Plusnet, and all ok, well sort of, BB does keep dropping out for a few minutes; so I'm using 4G more but that's not the issue - or is it?

You will have been given a router admin p/w and an address to connect to the router e.g. 192.168.1.nnn

Simple use a browser to connect, enter the Admin p/w and you'll be able to change many settings including the p/w

Keep the original p/w in case you have to reset the router - you'll be able to backup the original settings too

Choose the wifi networks you don't want to automatically connect to, and for those networks tap on "i" (right-side, in blue circle) and disable Auto-Join.

I had this issue and the solution was to switch off 5GHz on the router.

I turned WiFi OFF, why does APPLE turn it back on? If I turn WiFi ON, I am happy to auto join the hotspots. If I turn it OFF then I want WiFi OFF.

Where can I research information on a data dictionary that includes the meanings to coding like u, I, ., me, etc.? Thanks for any help that maybe gathered.

If you’re within your 14 days give it back and get the XR! I had the max and we tried everything even with apple. There’s no fix to it, it’s a software issue.

Same problem with my iPhone 8 Plus, with iOS 12.2.

Switched to my iPhone SE with iOS 12.2 and ZERO drops since.
