TV programmes not shown as watched/unwatched on iphone

Hi, there doesn't seem to be an indicator on my iphone to show which episodes are watched or unwatched. There used to be a little dot, as per itunes via my pc, that showed which episodes I have watched, or not.

TV+ doesn't keep track of my last viewed episode and time I have a brand new ipad pro 2020 with the latest ipadOS. It came with a one year subscription of TV+ so I thought to give it a try. My issue is that if I watch something and close the screen, next time I open, it goes back to main menu and I need to manually look for the episode I was watching and where in it I was. Quite disappointing... Is there something I'm missing? Thanks, Nir.
