Should i backup my phone before updating it to iOS 12
actually my iCloud storage 5GB got over and I wanted to upgrade it to 50GB but my payment is not being done it says invalid address

You should back up your phone regularly. But, if you are not, you should definitely do it before upgrading. You can use iTunes to back your phone up to your computer.
