iOS 12 Bluetooth Uconnect issue

Yeah, I am not replacing my head unit so I can use my iPhone as a media player lol. I think I am going to ditch my iPhone and go with a Samsung phone since, Apple's Iphones' have become ridiculous in their prices lately anyways.

The last several days with Beta 4 have been uneventful, which is a good thing. Beta 5 was released yesterday and I'm installing it today, so hopefully things stay functional and we can all look forward to the issue finally being fixed in the official iOS 12.2 release.

I had commented on this last month and then I got an email from Apple stating that they deleted my post. So, I sold all my Apple Products Imac, Apple Watch, iPads and iPhones and now, I have a samsung galaxy note 8 and I couldn't be happier and it works just find with my uConnect in my Jeep. Not to mention I am able to have it read my text messages which I couldn't do with my iPhone. Thanks Apple for having forum nazis and deleting posts! If it wasn't for the Apple guy I would have never known what I was missing out on.

Have we figured out a solution to this? I just bought my ‘13 Charger about 3 months ago. I’ve been searching everywhere for a solution since I noticed the issue. Please, someone find something. I can not stress how massive of an annoyance this is. Thanks!

I’ve talk to Apple support many times on Twitter I’ve sent him a link to this thing here they don’t even reply but if I ask them some other questions about my phone or anything they reply right away ... what the !!! Is up with that ?

That's exactly what I did! Especially, after one of the apple admins here deleted my comment and sent me an email about "not being an helpful" answer! Apple's customer service has gone to ..... and all they care about is their stock prices at this point with their overpriced devices.

I have a 2017 sport ram and i have the same issue as mentioned above but i also have an issue that sometimes when i press the phone button on the steering it says that the device is loading but it never actually loads even if my songs from my phone are being played by Bluetooth... do you guys have the same issue?

kind I’d mind boggling that apple hasn’t or can’t address this issue. I am honestly to the point that I’d switch cell companies as well. Listening to music in my truck has become a nightmare.

Are people experiencing issues with iPhone X,XS,XR as well? Mine is a 7+ giving me issues now, with a 2017 ram 1500.

Also have people been to dodge about the issues? They should be updating headunits to the next generation under warranties in my opinion but that seems like a long shot.

I'm jumping on this thread as well. I'm having horrible issues with my iphone Xs in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the latest Uconnect Nav (I also have the 19 speaker high end audio). I had the iphone X and had a 2017 and now 2018 Jeep with no issues at all. As soon as I added the Xs a few months ago, i'm having all sorts of issues. The biggest issue is phone calls and facetimes calls on bluetooth force the Uconnect to lock up and reboot itself. I've tried multiple resets and bluetooth pairings with no luck. I want my old phone back! This iphone Xs hasn't impressed me at all.

I installed iO13 but I can not get music to play via a bluetooth connection to UConnect. On UConnect get the message failed to play. I have no issues setup up the iphone 6S and the phone feature work, but no music :( very sad as music and jeeps just go together

I Just upgraded my IOS to 13 version and i get this big time lag in music play when phone is connected via bluetooth on uconnect , Songs plays way faster than normal speed and endless silent pauses in between. Anyone have any luck fixing this?

Ps Phone calls works fine, I tried resetting uconnect , and on iphone i forgotten uconnect and repaired the same
