I just updated my server software today to 10.13.6 and now whenever I save an image it crashes photoshop.
It doesn't happen when I do a "save as" just a "save".
This happened once a long time ago.
Something is wrong between PS and the Mac update.

You could test in Safe Mode.
Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support
If it works in safe mode you have something installed causing the problem. If not, I would try reinstalling it.

Silly me. You'd think that after all these years I'd remember to do a simple restart of my server before I write in here.
It works now just as it did. I've read all the network stuff for almost 20 years and all the Adobe products works flawlessly over a good network and I've only rarely had problems that were always eventually resolved.
Never as easily as this one though.
Sorry for the distraction but maybe someone else will have the same problem and also forget rule number one: restart your machines.
