iOS 12 - Why are no Battery Usage Percentages showing at all.

Under the previous iOS sometimes when battery usage failed to populate (which does require a little time after unplugging) you either had to plug the device back into your charger for a while longer or do a Force Restart, could be worth a try.

Glad it worked, haven’t seen the issue on my X much but it was quite common on my previous SE, in the end I didn’t bother with a Force Restart when it happened because it usually got going again once I connected to charge in the evening, so just put up with the odd hours when it awol.

Regarding the “dogs”, must admit, had a little help from the pug 😁

Go to settings down to battery percentage make sure it,s green.

If you have a iPhone X swiipe down from top of screen to see battery percentage.

Nothing wrong with the 5s, it’s a great little device, in fact I’m still using an iPad Mini 2 which has the same internals as yours (ie. A7), and it’s running just great on iOS12.
