iPod Shuffle

I have a 4th Generation iPod Shuffle. The battery has been a bit shotty since I did a long run in the rain a few months back; it is usually dead unless I charge it within a few hours before using.


I am having the issue now that it will not play once I plug in my headphones, the lights will not blink or anything. When the iPod shuffle is plugged into my computer, it works totally normally and shows a mostly full battery.


Any suggestions on addressing this? Am I able to bring it into the genius bar for service? There doesn't appear to an option to service this device on the Apple Support webpage. Thanks.
