Bluetooth crashing settings app
Since I have updated to IOS 12 every time I try to go into the bluetooth menu the settings app crashes and kicks me back to the home screen. Anyone else having this issue?

My wife had exactly the same problem with her iPhone 8. The solution was all ready given two years back, from this thread:
Bluetooth settings on iPhone crashes settings
To make a long story short, here are the steps I followed:
Keep in mind that you have to select airplane mode, in order to enter settings menu without crashing.
I am having this issue! I have tried everything!
1. Quit all background apps on device
2. Hard reset of all devices using my appleID
3. Reset Bluetooth settings
4. Reset ALL settings
however, I have been able to get to the BT settings by placing the phone in airplane mode. I can turn on Bluetooth when in that mode and see my connected devices. My first step was actually doing that and choosing “forget device” on all my Bluetooth devices. Once I turn airplane mode back off, I can’t get into the Bluetooth menu in setting with the crashing. My wife has the exact same phone and has no issues.
I just got an iPhone XS Max with the exact same symptoms. Can't enter Bluetooth settings unless I'm in Airplane Mode.
Also noticed Airplane Mode is not disabling my WIFI or Bluetooth -> Just my cellular data..... Smells like a dud iPhone XS Max.
Im also experiencing the same issues and can only get access to Bluetooth from settings once I put my device on airplane mode. My friends however also updated theirs and are not experiencing the same 🤔. Would like to be able to manage that without the hassle of going through airplane mode and all.
Really a bad taste Joke. I did find a way to enter the BT menu without crashing by disabling BT from the control center BUT be sure no “white circle frame” appears (click it twice). Then enable airplane mode then go to BT menu normally.
Was looking forward to trying this. However after the update to 12.01 I can no longer get into the Bluetooth menu even in airplane mode. This is such a joke Apple!
See if a reset helps ...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
This will reset all settings and your Apple Pay cards will be removed. No data or media will be deleted.
Was hoping to not loose all of my wifi settings and alike. Did you have this problem specifically?
This issue seems to start on my device after using Airplane Mode. Once used, bluetooth settings are inaccessible. A restart fixes the issue for me. Obviously, this is a not great process.
I have this problem, and airplane mode doesn't let me access bluetooth. But I'm trying the current update iOS 12.1, which I assume will address this issue.
Still happening after the update. Unbelievable!
Me, too! I can't believe Apple has fallen this fast after Jobs. I paid $1K for this device.
Same for me too, was hoping the update would fix it, but it hasn't.
(on iPhone 6 Plus btw)
Try to disconnect bluetooth from control centre and then enable the airplane mode.
Wow that seems to have worked. Thank you so much for the suggestion!
