MacBook Pro 13" 2016 broken below the screen

Hey everyone,

I have a 2016 Macbook Pro 13 inch without touchbar. Unfortunately, I discovered a crack in the logo bar below the screen which I've learnt is called logo baffel. As you can see in the photos attached, it has cracked just below the screen which makes me ask myself whether this might have negative effects on the screen in the long term. What do you think? Is it going to be in need of repair? I have found some cheap replacements for the logo baffel on ebay and AliExpress and a guide at iFixit. Has anyone experience in repairing something like that theirselves? Or can I just leave it like that?User uploaded file

Re-examining your first close-up, it looks like you scuffed the coating in the corner of the visible part of the screen and disrupted the covering below the screen. I cannot tell whether that is just a painted stripe or something more substantial, but whatever it is, you lose no function if you do not repair it.

My only concern: if you have a real crack in the glass down there, and you don't do something so stabilize it, it might crack more, and spread into the active part of the screen.
