How to Airplay2 stream music from a MacBook Pro to Stereo Homepod ?

Hi everybody, I have a 2017 MacBook Pro (updated on OS 10.14) working fine.

I have recently acquired 2 HomePods and use them in stereo mode in the same room.

I can stream music to my stereo homepods using iTunes.

For all other apps, safari included, I can't find a way to stream to my homepod paired in stereo mode (see picture attached, they appear separate).

What do I do wrong 😕 ?

You're not doing anything wrong. Stereo playback support has not yet been added to Mac. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to add your voice to those requesting it.
