iPhone 6S plus touch screen freeze frequently

My IPhone touch screen freeze up all the time, I think the phone is to soft to carry in the pocket without protection case, I figure this as my fix to my isssue is to bend the phone softly backwards, hold the ends of the phone with the screen facing you ( like a game pad) and press gently the center back of the phone, like bending the phone and the touch screen will become active again, its not a permanent fix as I have to do this frequently, but at least it’s a fix there make my phone work!

Hello, Kurteduard!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here. I understand that you're having an issue where you're iPhone 6s Plus is freezing. That is something I'd be glad to help with.

To start, I'd recommend checking out If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen for some really good, basic troubleshooting steps to follow when your iPhone is frozen. The whole article is worth a look, but I'd like to call out this part in particular:

If your screen is black or frozen

If your screen is black or frozen, you might need to force restart your device. A force restart won't erase the content on your device. You can force restart your device even if the screen is black or the buttons aren't responding. Follow these steps:

  • On an iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
  • On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
  • On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

If those steps don't resolve it, you may want to contact Apple for support and service to look into your options for getting the device inspected and possibly serviced for a hardware issue.

I hope you find this helpful.

Best regards.

The display freeze just like a screenshot, no black screen here, buttons work so I can reset my phone as I did twenty times without it did any good, as I said in my first chat, the only fix I can find working is to bend the iPhone 6 s plus softly backwards to bring the display back to life, then it will be fine for a little while, but I guess I will have to get me a spare phone so I can send this one in for repair!
