How to mute the other person on FaceTime?

Even though I turn the volume down on FaceTime, it is still too loud. I can mute myself, but I can't mute the other party. Turning the volume down all the way still leaves it too loud. I just want to see the FaceTime video and not hear the audio.

Thanks. That's a good suggestion, but I would like to turn the volume all the way down until it goes to mute.
