Orico USB Hub compatability

I have 2 Orico USB3 hubs, a 6 plug, built to look like the MPro garbage can, and a 7 hub which is a "normal" looking device.

They are supposed to be compatible with Mac.

The 6plug is plugged into the 7plug hub which is plugged into the MPro.

When starting the MPro, the screen remains blank if the Orico (s) are plugged in. I really have to boot up with them unplugged.

Once it is up and running I can plug in the Orico's and they work and appear to have no impact on the performance.

I have tried just plugging in one of the hubs at a time and that makes no difference.

Any thoughts?
