Get out of Power reserve in new Apple Watch 4

My new Apple Watch 4 was put into battery reserve and now will not turn back on. I was just wanting to see what it did and now my screen is black and won’t turn on. I’ve held in both buttons separately, together, and tried charging it (it was at 80% when I clicked power reserve).

Any suggestions? Is this a glitch with the new watch? Just got a little over 24 hours ago. Please help!

Yes, I just charged it overnight and there was no change. And as I mentioned, it was 80% battery when this happened. It’s the brand new watch that just released this month and I’ve had it for less than 48 hours. Not sure what you mean by “checking the battery”.

Might need to take it to the Apple store.

Thank you for the response though.
