My Apple Watch Series 4 will not restart after being in power reserve mode even after holding the side button down for several minutes. It’s fully charged but still has a blank screen. How do I get it to come back on?

My watch was fully charged when I turned the Power Reserve on. It showed the clock briefly and then shut completely down. I charged it overnight and tried holding the side button down for a few minutes with no response. I then tried holding the side button and the Digital Crown down at the same time for a few minutes with no response either. It seems to be dead.
