There doesn't appear to be a way to search the new (iOS 12) iBooks store. When you click the search icon at the bottom of the main page, it only searches your own personal library. When you go to the iBooks store itself, it only lets you browse. What's up with that? Anybody figured this out?

Thanks - When I searched, I saw the autofill answers below (which were only my personal books) - but when I saw your note and went passed the autofill and pressed the search button, I saw the book store results as well. Thanks!
For me in the Books app on my Pad (iOS 12) the Search button shows results for both 'In Your Library' and 'Book Store' - you aren't getting both when you type in a search ?
I’m not sure if this is going to work. But in settings I have toggled > Books Settings > Online Content > Allow Books to access publisher’s content from the internet.
Hope that will help. But I am not use this is the final solution. As I also struggle to search the bookstore.
There are other settings - in Settings - that might need to be adjusted to sort this issue.
