Any ideas please?
My bluetooth mouse on my 3 month old iMac 27" needed charging for the first time.
I charged it, and now it works for a minute, then stops.
I plug in a wireless mouse, go to bluetooth setting, connect mouse & it starts working again, for 2 minutes.

HAHA, but my question is a serious one.
I'm sure it is but are you talking about Apple Mice? If you look in System Preferences > Mouse what does the Battery Level indicate before it disconnects?
Yes, original Apple mouse, with 100% charge.
