iOS 12 : Could not hang up a FaceTime call

Hello,

I was in a FaceTime call when I noticed that instead of the red icon with the cross, at the bottom of the screen (which ends the call), there was a green camera icon. Pressing this camera icon did not hang up the call. In fact, I had no way to end the call. Has anyone else seen this before ? PS : screenshot blurred on purpose.

I noticed that I only have this issue when a FaceTime call is started from an existing phone call by clicking the FaceTime button. It appears that the person who started the FaceTime call has the red X button, but the person who receives the call only has the green camera button. The green camera button seems to have no effect when pressed.

In the attached screenshot, I was receiving the FaceTime call so I only had the green camera icon. My friend however, who started the FaceTime call from a phone call, had the red X and was able to end the call. Faces have been blacked out for security.

I have an iPhone X running 12.1 and my friend has an iPhone XS running 12.1.
